Well, to start with a story... Once, a huge forest was being destroyed by fire, where all the animals in the forest felt powerless about it. But it was the one small hummingbird which started collecting droplets of water trying to put off the fire. Meanwhile the much larger animals started asking the hummingbird that "what do you think you can do with your small beak and wings?". It says" I'm doing the best I can".

And that in my opinion is what we the young people should do. Every little bit of warming matters and so every single action that we can take to limit global warming also matters. By mobilising our own communities,we the young people can become torchbearers to tackle this global threatening issue.
And most importantly, we the young people are connected like no other generations before because of the internet and the social media. By combining this level of connectivity along with the credibility of the scientific data, we need to take up the responsibility of educating the world on the seriousness of this issue.

We the young people have already
the barriers of race, gender and disabilities. And now its time to go beyond borders. Let us pledge to give our best support in achieving the 2030 Agenda sustainable development goals. Our actions can be small as planting a sapling. But what really matters is the timely action. And the time to act is now.
